Chris D. Teichmiller OD
Dr Chris D. Teichmiller has been serving the Huntsville-Madison-Decatur area of Northern Alabama for over 26 years. He is a published author and has lectured internationally on the subject of dry eye. He has served as the Alabama Optometric Association president and was named optometrist of the year. He has played a leading role in programs such as “Mission Makeover” and The Special Olympics. Dr. Teichmiller is proud to be your trusted eye care doctor. Mary, Office Manager
Mary joined Dr. Teichmiller’s team in January 2001. Having received a B.S. Degree in Secondary Education from the University of North Alabama and with previous management experience, Mary applies her business and personal skills in a way that reflects her versatility. Patient knowledge and comfort are a priority. Followup and customer satisfaction are Mary’s personal objectives. “Our patients deserve the very best in both their eye care and customer service. I want to do all I can to see that is what they receive from our office.”
Beth, Scheduling Coordinator
Beth received her B.S. degree in Secondary Education from Athens State and taught high school science in Blount County for 10 years. She is a valuable team member and as scheduling coordinator, makes sure our patients are scheduled and aware of upcoming appointments. She shares the responsibilities of checking in and out patients at the front desk and is crosstrained to willingly assist coworkers whenever needed. “I enjoy the change of pace working in a medical office. Helping patients feel important each time they come through the door is my goal”
Pam, Optician
Pam has over 12 years of experience in the optical industry and has been at Innovative Eyecare since 2015. She helps manage the frame inventory to ensure that we have a variety of frames for our patients. Pam also works in our optical lab, and showcases frames on our Facebook page.
She enjoys getting to know our patients and their unique needs so that she can help them pick out the perfect eye wear.
Cindy, Optician
Cindy is an ABO certified optician who comes to us with 28 years experience in the industry. She is married with one daughter and in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, her dogs, and camping.Cindy enjoys most the opportunity to help people select eye wear that is a little outside the box, allowing our patients to express themselves through a distinctive style.
Soraea, Optometric Technician
Soraea has been an Optometric technician since 2014. She is a Lawrence County native and attended Calhoun Community College. She has been with our office for since 2015, assisting the doctor and taking care of our patients.Soraea’s goal is to make sure every patient has an exceptional experience at our office.
Brittany, Optometric Technician
Brittany has been an Optometric technician since 2013 and is cross trained in the optical department. She became part of our team in June of 2017, originally moving from Virginia. She enjoys every aspect of eyes from the health to picking out glasses. She truly has a passion for the field.Brittany’s priority is to make sure every patient is seeing their best by the time they leave the office.
