Mary-Office Manager
Mary joined Dr. Teichmiller’s team in January 2001. Having received a B.S. Degree in Secondary Education from the University of North Alabama and with previous management experience, Mary applies her business and personal skills in a way that reflects her versatility. Patient knowledge and comfort are a priority. Follow-up and customer satisfaction are Mary’s personal objectives.

Beth - Scheduling Coordinator
Beth received her B.S. degree in Secondary Education from Athens State and taught high school science in Blount County for 10 years. She is a valuable team member and as scheduling coordinator, makes sure our patients are scheduled and aware of upcoming appointments. She shares the responsibilities of checking in and out patients at the front desk and is cross-trained to willingly assist co-workers whenever needed.

Joy - Insurance and Patient Accounts
Joy graduated from Wallace State Jr, College. She joined our practice with 25 years experience in medical insurance making her a valuable asset to our practice. Her understanding of insurance and patient accounts enables her to investigate the patients concerns and resolve their issues. Joy enjoys the interaction with people, both patients and her fellow team members.

Ashley - Para Optometric Technician
Ashley attended Calhoun Community College and worked in the medical field for 3 years before she joined our staff. Her attention to detail and willingness to accept additional responsibility makes her the go-to person for our patients and team. Ashley’s friendly, easy going personality has a calming influence on our patients to ensure their experience is a pleasant one.

Daniel - Optician
Daniel is the most recent member of the team.His background is as diverse as his skill set. Having attended college at OWCC in Fort Walton Beach, Florida he continues his education online, earning various certificates, including some that enhance his skill to provide exceptional service to our patients. He is very involved in giving back to the Decatur community by serving on the board of Life Source Inc. and co-founding
